Charon
Ludum Dare 49
This game was developed in 48 hours for the Ludum Dare game compo. Without doubt, its one of the best experiences I've ever had. Everything in this game I created myself, the pressure to develop the project ensures that no time is wasted and, in my opinion, its let me create something fairly cool in a short amount of time. Please do check out the rest of the games in the competition!
Theme: Unstable

Charon
A game about an old man and his boat. As you drift through the endless abyss, you use whatever you can find around you to steer your boat away from the rocks. Keep the furnace fuelled with the debris you find and see how far you can get!
_____________________________________________________________________________________________
Controls
- WASD to move
- Mouse to look around
- Left Mouse button to pick up barrels
- Right mouse button to place / throw barrels
_____________________________________________________________________________________________
Known Issues
- Level generation is largely random, therefore not all player experiences will be equal and some journeys will be shorter than others.
- Small audio bugs that occur from time to time with barrels.

Future Plans
I truly wish I had more time to add more features to this game. I really want to work on the aesthetics and story some more, whilst adding some more features to the game, such as music for the boat, more to do while sailing, things to collect, to build and so much more. Right now I plan to polish the game up, but depending on the response, who knows where it'll go :D

Woah pretty cool concept! If anything I'd say player speed is a little high for that small island, also it may have benefit from some more FOV but cheers!
